A matter of perspective: Why Data Matters
The priority of any AI model is to provide what it defines as the “correct” result. That definition comes directly from its training data.
To prevent unwanted surprises, you need to be certain that the data you believe you are feeding your AI is the data it is learning from.
Imagine training an AI model to recognise ducks. You provide it with what you believe is the perfect example of a duck. But what if the AI interprets that image as a rabbit?
From that point on, the AI “thinks” that rabbit-like features are correct for ducks. When asked to find duck images, it will mistakenly deliver rabbit pictures instead.
